Friends of Copeland Creek (FOCC) is dedicated to the ecological restoration of the Copeland Creek natural area that runs through the Sonoma State University campus. The goal of the club is to restore the native riparian forest ecosystem, including its native plant and animal diversity and ecological processes. All students, as well as others from the community interested in ecological restoration, are welcome to participate in our weekly meetings and special events. Click on Events Calendar to find out about our meeting times and event dates (subject to change each semester). David Stokes and Julie Bright are the faculty co-advisors of the club. Under their counsel we learn about ecology, biology, and habitat restoration. Following are the club officers and advisors. |
