So why should you
join the Biology Club?
Here are just a few reasons why you should join:
Mentoring
Do you know you like Biology, but don’t know exactly what you want to do yet? The club is full of members who share the same ideas and goals as you. We can share information and experiences that could help you choose a path. Biology department professors also interact with the club, and they are a great source of information.
Make a Difference
The Biology Club has the privilege of being a direct link of information between students and the Sonoma State Biology Department. The club will have an influential role in future matters that affect students in science major programs.
Community Involvement
The Biology Club is a community service-oriented group. We learn about and help our environment and surrounding communities by going out and actively participating in educational and environmental activities.
Have Fun
We put on numerous activities both on and off campus for students and faculty to simply have fun. The club is known for having fun and educational field trips and other activities.

activities for this year:
Overnight Camping Trip
Day trips to interesting Biological locations
Plant and Bake sales
Career days with guest speakers
Kayaking and habitat restoration trip
Biology Bowling Challenge
Anyone can join the
Biology Club
You do not even have to be a Biology major.
Dues
Dues are only $7.50 per semester or $15.00 for the entire year.
