Where to get Your Application:
Pick up your TriBeta application in the Biology Office



There are six types of membership for TriBeta.

Regular Membership: To be a regular member, the requirements are an undergraduate major in biology, a 3.00 grade point average, completion of three college semesters, and completion of three biology courses with one of them being upper division.
There is a one time fee of $38.00 dollars and you will be a lifetime member.

Associate Membership: This membership is for undergraduate students who want to be a part of the honor society but have not had the chance to complete the regular membership requirements. However, you still must maintain a 3.00 in all major courses.
There is a $28.00 fee for this membership which can be upgraded to a regular membership when you complete the requirements for $10.00. Both fees are one time fees. If you choose not to upgrade to regular membership then associate membership is terminated when you graduate.

 

Graduate Membership: Is of course for graduate students who have a 3.00 or better average in their biology course work.
There is a $38.00 one time fee for lifetime membership.

 

Alumni Membership: Are regular members who wish to continue contact and support.
There is a $38.00 anuual fee.

 

Honorary Membership: These members are elected by the local chapter for significant contribution to the program and by the national organization for outstanding service to the society or biology.

 

Corporate Membership: This membership is for institutions and corporations with an interest in biology and the TriBeta society.
There is an annual fee of $500.00+.


Upon graduation as a regular member of TriBeta, one can purchase cords for $5.00 to wear at the graduation ceremony.

All fees are sent to the national office for registration in the permanent national records.
