April 23, 2000 - Three Sonoma State lacrosse players have been named to the 2001 All-WCLL Team. Receiving First Team honors are senior face-off specialist Matt Dennig and junior midfielder Mike Fritz. Named to the Second Team is senior attackman John Minan.

At the league meeting in August, the WCLL disposed of the WCLL All-Star Game due to lack of participation by the league's top players who were often scheduled to play the following week at the USLIA National Championship. As a result, the league opted for a more prestigious All-WCLL Team rather than trying to field four All-Star Teams (Div A& B, North & South). Congratulations to Matt, Mike, and John.
