SSU Stays at #5 in USLIA Top 25 Poll

February 22, 2001 - Sonoma State Lacrosse remained at #5 in the latest USLIA Top 25 Poll. There were no changes in the top 5 spots from the Preseason Poll but after two weeks of play in the 2001 season, four teams moved up, six teams moved down, and two new teams were elevated to Top 25 status. The most notable improvement was the University of Arizona (WCLL) jumping four spots from #15 to #11. Auburn University (SELC) fell from #12 to #17 and Emory University (SELC) dropped from #18 to out of the Top 25. Vanderbuilt University (SELC) made a surprisingly high debut at #18 and the University of Florida (SELC) came in at #22.
