May 25, 2000 - The SSU coaching staff will be without Assistant Coach Jeff Hughes and Graduate Assistant Joe Latulippe in 2001. Coach Latulippe will be attending Montana State University in the Fall to pursue a doctorate's degree. Coach Hughes, an assistant at SSU for five seasons has accepted the Head Coaching position at San Diego State University.

Joining the staff in 2001 as a graduate assistant will be Allen Balser. Allen spent his collegiate career as an attackman at SSU and is certain to make a positive impact on the Cossack's offense.
