April 22, 2000 - The SSU lacrosse team put on a dominating display of high powered offense and smothering defense as the Cossacks routed Santa Clara University 22-5. From start to finish, SSU was able to control both the ball and the tempo. From the beginning, SSU's depth and talent were too much for the Broncos to handle. SSU was led in scoring by Jerrod Waller (4g/3a), Ben Alexander (3g/1a) and MJ Crickmore (1g/3a), although the majority of the scoring was spread evenly among many players. The game ball was awarded to Dallas Hartley (0g/1a) for his inspired play between the boxes and outstanding leadership on Senior Day at SSU. SSU's Seniors who played their last home game on Saturday are: Alan Balser, Pat Ferguson, Dallas Hartley,Ryan Horn, and Marty Wilson.
