SSU Endures UCLA Keep Away to Win 8 - 5

April 14, 2001Los Angeles, CA - In a game that was characterized as "boring", the UCLA Bruins relied on a "four corners" style of play in an attempt to keep Sonoma State from having very many offensive opportunities. With the gam tied at 2-2 at halftime and 4-4 at the end of the third quarter, the strategy seemed to be working. However, an offensive push by SSU in the fourth quarter was the difference as the Cossacks pulled away to win 8-5.
